Marilyn Sue Propheter

July 2, 1945 - August 5, 2016

Marilyn Sue Propheter, 71 of Smithville, Missouri passed away peacefully Friday, August 5, 2016 at NorthCare Hospice House. Marilyn was born July 2, 1945 to Edwin Toombs and Ruby Gottsehall Toombs in King City, Missouri. She lived a majority of her life in King City, and she was a graduate of King City High School. She was a devoted wife of 51 years, 10 months and 2 days to Wayne Propheter and a beloved Mother and Grandmother. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sherry Cumpton. Survivors include her beloved husband, Titus "Wayne" Propheter of Smithville; her children; Rhonda and Scott Bonham or Blue Springs, Missouri, Alan Propheter of Trimble, Missouri and Ryan Propheter of Weston, Missouri; Two beloved grandchildren; Stacy and Douglas; one great-granddaughter, Layla, along with a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Hammer Memorial United Methodist Church; 116 N. Connecticut Street, King City, Missouri 64463. Memorial contributions suggested to either Smithville United Methodist Church at 505 US-169 Hwy, Smithville, Missouri or to Hammer United Methodist at 116 N.
