Jim was born to Paul and Dorothy Wrigley in Birmingham, Missouri on May 16th, 1942, and lived in the Kansas City area throughout his life. He graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1959 and married Sue Slagle in 1961. They were blessed with a daughter and son. Jim was a devoted husband and father, and cherished time with family. He was kind hearted and compassionate, and would help anyone in need. He had a love for animals and children, and they were drawn to his gentle spirit. In later years, Jim (PaPa) enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and supported any activity in which they were involved. He attended church faithfully throughout his life and played the saxophone in various church orchestras. Jim’s love for automobiles led him to any auto show in the area, and he had a vast knowledge of vehicle makes and models. His legacy is one of integrity, kindness, and love for God and family.
