James Henry Meloy 64, passed away Friday August 5th at his home. Services will be held Saturday August 20th at 1:00 p.m. Open Door Baptist Church 4300 NE Parvin Road, Kansas City, MO 64117. He served his country in the US Army. He was a fan of Royals, Chiefs and was a handyman who could fix anything & everything. He was a kind and generous man who accepted everyone. Most of all, he loved his family and grandchildren. Born August 19th 1951 in Wichita, KS Survived by his wife, Donna Meloy of Kansas City, MO. Son Rick Meloy of Kansas City, MO Three daughters Dana Travis, son-in-law Dean of Raymore, MO. Deanna Valencia of Kansas City, MO. Nikki Yocum of Raymore, MO. Two Brothers Dennis Meloy of Newkirk, OK. Ronald Meloy of Raymore, MO. Preceded in death by his son James Jr, Brother Jerry Meloy, two sisters Carol Stover and Glenda Werner. Has 13 grandchildren Seth Swope and his spouse Brandy of Platte City, MO. James Swope of Raymore, MO. Torrie Taylor and her spouse Neil of Holt, MO Markus Swope of Trimble, MO.
