Andrea Eve Tweety-Jacobs

In Memoriam of Andrea Eve Tweedy-Jacobs Andrea Eve Jacobs, age 31, of the City of Lake Waukomis, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015, at her home. She was born on March 12, 1984, at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Howard and Janet Tweedy. Andrea grew up in Platte County, Missouri, attending Park Hill High School and graduating in 2002. She went on to get her 2-year Associate’s Degree at Maple Woods Community College. Andrea was married to Kelsey Wayne Jacobs on April 20, 2006. From this union, her highest achievement in life was the birth of her two fabulous children, Devon Wayne, age 9, and Brianna Lynn, age 7. They were her whole life. Andrea loved being a mother, and she was so proud of them. Andrea enjoyed scrapbooking, going to auctions, making people laugh, and spending time with her children. Andrea was a very low-key person who paid little attention to herself, and more to the betterment of those who knew her. She loved animals, especially cats, wanting to bring every stray she found home. Her first cat of 10 years, Tiger, developed diabetes, and he almost died. But, with our help of giving Tiger insulin twice daily, he is still alive today. As we write this oh so short eulogy, friends from her past are flooding social media with heartwarming stories of their memories of Andrea. Andrea had many friends, and she reminisced frequently about them. She was a passionate, fun-loving, sensitive person, full of hopes, fears, and abilities. And now we know - she was also courageous. She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Tweedy. She is survived by her husband, Kelsey Wayne Jacobs; two children, Devon Wayne and Brianna Lynn Jacobs; her mother, Janet Lynn Gilbert; her sister, Ronda Lynn Mansell; and her brother, Adam Ray Tweedy. In addition to the above family, she also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Pamela Steele; sister-in-law, Natasha Norblad; brother-in-law Michael Jacobs; her children’s great grandparents Stanley and Jackie King; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Memorial services for Andrea Eve Tweedy-Jacobs will be held at Northland Christian Church on Saturday, January 9, 2016, from Noon-2pm, with Reverend Hylton Lawrence officiating.
